Where did you grow up?

I grew up in Westfield, MA… Go Bombers! (For non-Western Mass members, our high school mascot.)

 

Where do you live now, and who lives with you?

In 2005, I moved from Boston where I was a prosecutor, back to Westfield to join Specialty Boly & Screw (SBS)… a very different career path. I live there with my wife and our children, who are young adults and are just starting careers or finishing university. 

 

Tell us about your business, interests, etc.

In 2013 our family purchased SBS outright. SBS provides just-in-time delivery of metal and plastic components, for global OEM’s. We have facilities in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Taiwan, Vietnam, Korea, India and Finland. Outside of work, I value time with my family, travel, volunteering in our community and doing puzzles.

 

What is your most memorable YPO experience?

There have been many memorable experiences through YPO, making it difficult to choose just one. Forum has been especially meaningful to me, and I truly value the friendships and trust that have grown from those relationships.

 

One experience that stands out in particular was my first overseas YPO trip to Israel. From start to finish, it was thoughtfully planned and deeply impactful. The trip offered meaningful access to people, places, and perspectives I would not have experienced on my own, and it sparked insightful conversations that stayed with me long after I returned home. It really opened my eyes to the depth of resources, learning, and shared experiences that are available through YPO.

 

I also enjoyed the Chapter Retreat to Octoberfest… not for the educational content.

 

What personal or professional growth are you striving for over the next year, and why is that important to you?

Professionally, I continue to grow the business. At the same time, at my age I’m more concerned about my personal health and wellness, and making time for fun and connection with family and friends. Finding that balance is important to me and helps me show up better in all areas of my life.
